Hair Design

In this program you will learn to see and think as a designer, allowing you to plan a hair design that leads to predictable results.  Once you understand the theories, principles and techniques of hair design, you will see that although trends come and go, the basic concepts never change.

Throughout this course you will learn to work with a variety of tools, such as blow dryers, curling irons and rollers, as well as techniques, such as molding, pin curling, finger waving and back brushing.  All of these tools and techniques will be invaluable to you, once you enter the salon environment.

Keep in mind that hair design, which is sometimes referred to as finishing, is the completion phase of any hair service.  Whether you have cut, colored, or permed your client's hair, the way you finish it will ultimately define that design's success.
